GLOBAL IMPORT CLERK £20-23K + BENEFITS
IMMEDIATE START
My client is looking for a Global Import Clerk for am immediate. Knowledge of import and export freight forwarding is essential. A knowledge of C.H.I.E.F in-house system is desirable.
Main Duties Include:
Arranging and expediting the complete import, clearance and delivery process for named key accounts, including but not limited to:
Preparation of customs entries prior to vessel`s arrival
Ensuring Duty and VAT and Sales invoices are raised promptly
Preparing delivery notes and pre-advices for customers and agents
Ensuring receipt of documentation and monies in accordance with credit control procedures before release of freight
Assiting with resolving operational disputes
Ensuring correct terms are applied to each shipment and customer
Candidates must have a good knowledge of import and export freight forwarding, a good telephone manner and attention to details.
